The Funeral Service Foundation's Children's Fund was established in 2001 to begin building a $100,000 endowment for the improvement of children's lives.

A portion of the fund's proceeds is granted each year, and the remainder is placed in the Children's Fund Endowment in order to establish a permanent funding source.

In 2007, FSF will begin partnering with the
National Alliance for Grieving Children through grants from the Children's Fund, in order to support children's bereavement programs across the United States.
